		<description>I found that blog to be breathtakingly beautiful &amp; horribly discouraging - all at once! I don&#039;t live in LA - but, come next June, I hope that will change. I suppose, really, all the depressing elements the writer mentions about LA could be said for Chicago, where I live now - perhaps it could be said for any place. It&#039;s the &quot;whatever, you don&#039;t matter &amp; nobody cares&quot; thing that makes me cringe. Also, the whole materialistic aspects that are wholly unappealing to me.</description>
